March 15th, Thursday... It seems as though "March Madness" has not only affected the college community of basketball, it also has a profound affect on the NBA as well! There are two (count them) situations that are looming over the head of the NBA. One of them has been taken care of but the reverberation of it will have a similar result like a tsunami after an earthquake. That situation is the firing/resignation of Mike D'Antoni, the (former) head coach of the New York Knicks. In the wake of "Linsanity" and the return of Carmelo ("Coach Killer") Anthony, D'Antoni's applauded freelance system on offense has dissolved into a mess and the Knicks are as dysfunctional as ever! The Knicks are as Mr. Gecko (character of the movie Wall Street) says they are wrecked because they are "wreckable!" Why does this happen in New York? (Maybe it says something about New York?)
The other situation is the trade/non trade of Dwight Howard, the love able/hate able center of the Orlando Magic. He wants to go... No, wait a minute, he wants to stay... No, he has power over the Magic's decision making... Wait. He wants to relinquish his power back to the Magic! WHAT?
Okay, lets let cooler heads prevail right now. Who is to blame for all of this? Is it something in the air? Is it in the food? No... None of that. The problem is in Charlotte, North Carolina. Michael Jordon is the problem!/ LOL! He created all of this foolishness by being so damn good when he played! If he did not do what he did, all of this crap would not be happening now! (That's all I got!)
